Create a lasting culture
of collaboration

Don’t just “do” collaboration.
Start “being” a truly collaborative team.

How does collaboration go for you and your teams?

It’s well-known that collaboration brings many benefits. Creativity, staff satisfaction, efficiency savings, a better end-user experience, and much more. And yet in many organisations collaboration is well intended but rarely well executed, suffering false dawns and predictable patterns of individual or siloed working as we all get busy. Another brainstorming session, more meetings, or a new technology solution won’t change that. To really transform our ways of working and to embed a lasting culture of collaboration, we need to better understand human behaviours and team dynamics, explore the importance of purpose and meaning, and develop the courage to hold one another accountable.

Tracy Playle now offers three options to help inspire and embed a culture of collaboration in your teams and organisations…

  • The keynote

Book Tracy to deliver her keynote talk on “Creating a culture of collaboration” for your event or team training session. The talk can last between 25 and 45 minutes, plus time for questions or facilitated discussion if you wish. This can be delivered in-person, live online, or as a recorded video talk.

  • The workshop

Over one day or two half days, Tracy will work with your team to explore the five critical questions of effective collaboration: why, who, what, how and where. We’ll explore how to design for trust, momentum and creativity in order to embed a lasting culture of collaboration.

  • The programme

The programme is designed to be spread over a period of several weeks. Through a combination of presentations, workshops and activities, this programme is designed to take you on a journey towards lasting collaboration. This is the perfect programme if you want to apply it to a real project right now.

Planning a team retreat?
Make it impactful

Team retreats and away days offer a great opportunity to generate connection, to reset how you work together and to plan for new initiatives or campaigns. Tracy can support your retreat by providing talks and workshops, or by designing a bespoke event to get the outcomes that you seek while keeping your team highly engaged.

Why Tracy?

Tracy describes herself as an extroverted recluse.

She knows how to bring the energy to any room or stage and can thrive in collaboration. But she is also deeply lured to want to work alone, to do it all herself, and to rejoice in solitude. She can often be found in her happy place, hanging our with her dogs and hiding from people. When it comes to collaboration, she is a straight-talking realist who has learned many tough lessons in her 20-year career about what does and doesn’t work, and continues to do so with a commitment to fail and keep learning.

As a qualified leadership and team coach Tracy recognises that more beanbags, collaborative technologies and rigorous check-ins are often just window dressing for true collaboration. To achieve transformations in how we collaborate, we need to understand human behaviours and have the courage to explore topics such as trust, safety, purpose, meaning and conflict. Tracy has the courage, curiosity and compassion to bring you into those conversations in a warm and empathetic way, free from judgement or a belief that there is a “right” way to collaborate.

Her approach is to ask powerful questions, and to work in partnership with you as you find your own answers and solutions, bringing her own creativity and ideas only when invited to.
